What is E85?

E85 is a fuel made up of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. It is used in Flexible Fuel Vehicles (FFVs) that can run on any combination of ethanol and gasoline, up to 85% ethanol. The ethanol in E85 is made from corn, which is a renewable resource. FFVs have been available in the United States since the late 1990s.

The use of E85 has been growing in recent years. There are now over 9,000 fueling stations that sell E85 across the United States. The number of FFVs has also grown, with over 16 million now on the road in the United States.

The primary purpose of developing E85 fuel was to reduce the amount of harmful emissions released into the atmosphere. The government believed that using a renewable resource as a fuel source would be beneficial for the environment and help to lower our dependence on other oil.

INAT Auto Parts has focused on high performance fuel injectors for car upgrades over ten years, including 850cc fuel injectors, 1050cc fuel injectors, 1200cc fuel injectors, etc. These injectors can be used for E85 fuel and can effectively increase vehicle power. They are capable of operating at high fuel pressures and do not suffer from the high fuel pressure handling issues present with many other high flow, high impedance injectors. In addition, we have an ASNU test machine to conduct a strong test on the injector before leaving the factory, and the dynamic flow rate is matched within 1%.
